Milling capacity and quotation requirements
Maximum single-fixture travel
Maximum single-fixture travel is 1,300 × 670 × 625 mm. Larger parts may be split across fixtures using a common datum.
Five-axis machining
Five-axis work runs on the FANUC RoboDrill with a 500 × 400 × 330 mm travel plus the fourth and fifth axes. Larger five-sided parts can be planned as several three-axis setups.
Suitable production volume
The equipment is suited to high-mix, low- to medium-volume machining, including prototypes and repeat batches.
Typical milling tolerance
Typical milling tolerance is ±0.01 mm. Tighter features are reviewed from the material, geometry and inspection method.
Drawing revision control
Provide a released 2D drawing with a revision number. Any conflict between the drawing and 3D model is clarified before machining.
